O Lord, we pray for the persecuted church. We especially pray for those who are prisoners for their faith, remembering them as if we were chained with them. We pray for all Your people who are mistreated for Your sake, O Lord, for we ourselves are in physical bodies and may one day suffer for the faith as well.
Genesis 19:9 O Lord, protect the persecuted church. For when Your people live righteous lives in the midst of this wicked world, even as righteous Lot lived in wicked Sodom, some accuse your people of acting as their judges and seek to destroy them. Send Your angels, O Lord, to protect the righteous when the world presses hard against them and tries to punish them for their purity.
Genesis 24:60 O Lord, we pray for the persecuted church. May their descendants possess the gates of those who now hate them.

Psalm 7:1-2 O Lord, we pray for the persecuted church. Save Your people, O Lord, for all those who persecute them. Deliver Your people, O Lord, from their persecutors lest they tear them like a lion, rending them in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

John 16:2 We remember our fellow Christians who live in societies where deluded fanatics think they are offering You service when they kill those who are actually Your own people. Protect Your faithful and enable them to overcome hatred with Your love and lies with Your truth.
John 17:14 O Lord, we pray for the persecuted church. O Lord, enable Your people to be faithful to the word which Jesus has given them, the word which we find in the completed Bible. We pray that You will also strengthen, protect and bless Your people when the world hates them because they are not of the world, even as Jesus is not of the world. O Lord, enable Your people to overcome the world, even when the world oppresses Your people because they no longer think like the world nor live like the world nor love like the world nor hope like the world.
Acts 5:40-42 O Lord, we pray for the persecuted church. We pray for all those whom You have counted worthy to suffer shame for the name of Christ. Though the powers of this world beat them and command that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, may they not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

Romans 8:35-37 O Lord, we pray for those who are persecuted for the name of Christ. We thank You that neither tribulation nor distress nor persecution nor famine nor nakedness nor peril nor sword shall be able to separate us from Your love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. We thank You that in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us and gave Himself for us. .
2 Corinthians 4:8-12 Lord, we pray for Your people who are suffering persecution for the sake of Jesus. Even as they are delivered to death for Jesus' sake, may they manifest the life of Jesus which is theirs through faith. We thank You, O Lord, that though Your people are hard pressed on every side, they are not crushed; that though Your people are perplexed, they do not despair; that though Your people are persecuted, they are not forsaken; that though Your people are struck down, they are not destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:17 O Lord, be with the persecuted church. Protect them, deliver give, and give them victory through the power of the gospel. Encourage them, for their light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for them a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 We pray, O Lord, for the persecuted church. Bless their witness, O Lord, that Your word may run swiftly and be glorified, and that they, Your servants, may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men who do not believe the gospel. For not all have faith, O Lord, but You are faithful. Establish Your servants, O Lord, and guard them from the evil one.
Hebrews 13:3; Psalm 18:16-17,19 We remember before You, O Lord, those who are in prison and those who are mistreated for the testimony of Jesus. Send them help from on high and rescue them from those who hate them, and bring them out into a broad place.
Revelation 2:10 O Lord, we pray for the persecuted church. Enable them to be faithful until death, knowing that You will give them the crown of life. Deliver them from fear, even when they are about to suffer; even when the devil is about to throw some into prison, that they may be tested; even when they are about to have tribulation for a time.
