O Lord, strengthen our faith in Christ that we may increasingly
be among the truly blessed, that we may increasingly be those
who do no iniquity and are undefiled because they walk in Your ways,

Your testimonies and who seek You with the whole heart.

Psalm 119:33-37
|
May Your kingdom come in our individual hearts and lives, O Lord. Teach us,
O Lord, the way of Your statutes, that we may keep it to the end. Give us
understanding, that we may keep Your law and observe it with our whole
heart.
Make us walk in the path of Your commandments, for we delight in it. Incline
our hearts to Your testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn away our
eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive in us Your way.

Psalm 119:97-104

Teach us to love Your law, O Lord. Make it our meditation all the day. May
Your words become sweet to our taste, sweeter than honey to our mouth.
Through Your commandments, make us wiser than our enemies.
Through Your testimonies, give us more understanding than all our teachers.
Through Your precepts, enable us to understand more than the ancients.
Restrain our feet from every evil way that we may keep Your word and not
depart from Your judgments. Give us understanding through Your precepts that
we may learn to hate every false way.

O Lord, enable us as individuals to be good stewards of all that You have
entrusted to us while Jesus, who is our Master, is on His long journey to
Your right hand in heaven. When Jesus comes to hold us to account,
either through His Holy Spirit at the time of our death or in His glorified
physical body when He returns to earth at the end of this age, may He find
us serving Him faithfully. For blessed is the servant whom his master finds
so doing
when he comes.
